Yes lots of rubbing!! I'm running 1.25" Spider Trax spacers though. That the cause of most of the rubbing. I had to do the BMC and a good bit of bumper clearencing as well. Without the spacers I think people are getting away without the BMC.
As far as the rest the suspension. I'm running Bilstein 6112 springs on my stock Pro shocks for a 2.5" lift and Dobinsons 599 rear springs for about 1.5" lift.

A little late, but I upgraded the audio system about a month ago. Apple CarPlay head unit, Morel speakers, JL HD 500/1 amp, and a JL 10 in a custom box.

Hacked up my key and replaced it with the AJT Designs key fob, definitely love the new key

Also swapped out the rear hatch handle for the new Agency6 strap, here's a before of the stock handle

It's only about 1/2" longer than the stock one, I was a bit surprised it wasn't a bit longer, but the extra length does make a noticeable difference. (that's what she said)

First Toyota logo from the 1930's if i remember correctly. Originally "Toyoda" because that was his last name, later changed to Toyota for some weird reason.
If you search Toyota "TEQ" emblem history, you will learn a good amount about it.

Got it all installed. As others have said it makes our runners so much more enjoyable to drive. Excuse the command strip but wanted to tuck it away for maintenance visits. Liking the sport 7 setting.
Great pic, and glad you like the unit. I've sold a bunch of these for 5th gens specifically and on sale currently. Is it OK to use that pic of your install to show others?

I'm going up this weekend is this a one way trail.
Culmination of the past few days but finally got my suspension installed. Ran into a number of issues that probably weren’t helped by my inexperience working on cars but everything worked out. Off to the shop today to get an alignment then I’m all set!

Got my thule box. Got it on amazon which i absolutely do not recxomend. Had a terrible experiance with NSD delivery
Also made managing my optima aux battery a little easier. Just installed the clip to the battery so i dont have to unscrew terminals each time.

Auto dimming dash lights
I wanted automatic night dimming dash lights as described in this thread:

So I ordered a light control sensor from eBay for under $13, including shipping. I made sure it was from a US distribution center so it would ship quickly. It’s a Chinese knockoff, but it has the same part number as the Toyota OEM. 89121-50020. If you look on Toyota websites it’s listed for around $120. That’s nuts; it’s a simple photo sensor.

I carefully pried off the black plug on the front of the dash near the windshield. There’s a small electrical plug attached. Take it off and plug in the real sensor. I tested it before snapping it into the dash. With headlights on and the dimmer switch *not* clicked in the full bright position, by covering the sensor then shining a flashlight on it, I could demonstrate the light dimming action. Then I seated it fully into the dash.
Works well, I like it.
