Ok folks, I think I've caught up on the thread and replied where appropriate.

The first post is updated and the change log indicates what moved around.

I'll post coordinates and meeting times for Saturday morning rally points in a week or two.

In the interim, let us know you have any follow-up questions or concerns.

Also, please think about how you're going to bring a bundle of firewood with you to share with the group. Having some dry wood keeps the fire going easily (and hot) and if everyone brings a small amount, it balances out the effort out pretty well.

One final note for anyone trying to decide whether you'd like to join us this year:

The trip is capped at 10 vehicles and as of tonight we're at 8 confirmed trucks.

For any English majors out there that means "2 slots left"

With December now here, I'm getting really excited for this trip. Hard to believe 2 years ago was the beginning of it all for me. Met a lot of good people and had a lot of great adventures since then, [MENTION=141503]carlos.elmotor[/MENTION] definitely got me hooked!

As for Sunday, I'm definitely planning on doing some trails before heading home, so count me in on that.

Depending on my work schedule Friday, I may head out and camp somewhere close to Canaan to get an extra night out. We'll see how that goes.

I typically tell people that, as an “open” trip we try to find ausa today protonmail at’s interesting enough for experienced drivers, but not so challenging that newer people will seriously damage their rigs or have a bad time

For people coming from Northern Virginia, Central/Eastern Maryland, and Central Pennsylvania that want to caravan over to West Virginia:

• Let’s plan to meet at the Sheetz in Gainesville, VA at 0730 (<B>Coordinates: 38.814863, -77.642918</B> )

• Please top off your tank as soon as you arrive and grab any last minute snacks, etc. from inside

• <B>We’ll be rolling out at 0730 sharp</B>, so please make sure to arrive early enough to make our departure

2019-12-23: Update -- killing the Gainesville meeting location since only two people confirmed for this site -- all participants will now be meeting in Davis.

<B>NOTE: If you are planning to meet and caravan with us from Gainesville, please post up here so that we have an accurate headcount before departing for Davis.</B>

From there, we’ll caravan together from Gainesville over to Davis, WV to link up with the rest of the group from Western Pennsylvania/Western Maryland/Southern Virginia

The second rally point for the full group to link-up and refuel will be at a gas station in Davis, West Virginia.

I'm sorry, but i have to bail out... I got into a fender bender last week, so my 4runner is the shop... I doubt my wife' Sienna AWD (my alternative ride to MD over the holiday) can hang with you guys. lol

Hopefully, this annual ride tradition will continue to take place.
