Costco has added some new AGM batteries to their line based on the Interstate brand
For my second battery I installed the 70AH series called the H6. Am a little concerned by the weight and might consider a downsize to the 60AH series H5
Yeah I'd be careful about weight in that area. I have the OGE kit with a Group 35 battery in that area. It was tight and secure but I think the weight combined driving on rutted, corrugated Utah roads caused the aluminum battery tray to crack at the weld and loosen. Over time the weight of the battery broke the bracket thing it sits on. I eventually had to drill and rivet the bracket back so that it's secure.
I contacted OGE about it and they were surprised. Matt Carter replaced the aux battery tray at no cost and sent it out very quickly. So I will have to say at least the customer service was really good and the cracked tray seemed to be an isolated incident. I bought the shrockworks kit to replace it but just haven't had time to redo my dual battery kit just yet.

Added a few USB ports to my 2019's. Nice C3.0 versions easy to install with a power plug pass through so no tapping into wires or the fuse box. Just disconnect the wire from the back of the 12V power port attach the flow through connectors. Looks great, but isn’t that where the seat heaters are? It’s -20 here now. I’m keeping the seat heaters.

I just swapped out the tires on my 4Runner after getting 78,000 miles on the first set! I used a mobile tire service company, you gotta check these guys out. I'll never go to a tire shop again...

Got the Diode Dynamics SS3 Pro fogs installed last month, and now I'm working on cutting up the grill and prototyping brackets for my new "raptor lights" :biggrin1:
Kidding aside, these are the new SS3 SAE Pro driving pods. When mounted and aimed correctly, they are street-legal to use as auxiliary high beam lamps. I wanted to mount them as high on grill as possible for the furthest lighting reach, but keep them tucked in as well. By all accounts, these things are light cannons in a peashooter package.
I'll wire a relay for them and tap into the high beam circuit. This way all of my road-legal lighting (headlights, high beams, fogs) functions off of the turn-signal stalk. Roof bar and ditch lights have their own switches for offroad use.

LED Light Upgrade
I started the LED Light Upgrade using the pure white LEDs from HID Kit Pros.
Puddles, map, dome, vanity mirrors, rear hatch, and license plate are all complete. The plan is to tackle the big dogs next week: Morimoto XB LED headlights and fogs.
There have been a few comments about how difficult / risky it is to upgrade the puddles. My experience was they were no big deal. If you can take off an interior door panel this is about the same level of complexity, maybe one step up. In my opinion - COMPLETELY worth it. The below video is very helpful for those who want to upgrade.

No, on the Limted's the seat seat heater controls are in the center stack next to the storage pocket and factory USB/AUX port.
More info on this please. was it hard to connect? process pictures when installing? thanks

Is there enough wire in the kit to put the USB ports in the center console? I can't stand a cord always hanging out of the dash!
