Project: TUMBLER
Well I think it's about that time for a build thread.
I want to start off by saying thank you to the many members who have giving me so much knowledge and advice when I needed it and for all the inspiration to build my 4R the way its going. Now my father originally bought this 4runner back in 2002 when it came out, he did not know a whole lot about them but he did know they are relaible. I was 11 at the time and didn't really care much for cars of any sort, however it wasn't until the car was passed down to me my junior year of high school that I really noticed the runner. Like most high schoolers I dreamed of owning a sports car or muscle car, being completely oblivious of the jewel in my possesion. It wasn't until I returned from all my required training in the Marines to be put on reserves that I releaized just how much the runner has been there for me(prom, late night sneak outs, roadtrips to LA, Lake Tahoe, and everything in between) I will admit I had a pretty stupid vision on how to modify my 4r when I was in high school..here's a pic in my High school days:
Anyways, regardless of what I did to it I always felt a sense of pride driving it and always felt safe with it, I truly feel like there is a romantic relationship between us(as weird as that sounds) It's a bond we share that many of you must feel as well, I love her and here are my mods and upcoming mods:
