what kind of tires do you have on your 4runner?

I have a 2019 ORP that came with Nitto Terra Grapplers. We just did an 800 mile road trip on West Texas highways at 65 to 75 mph. Some of that driving was in hard rain. The truck handled fine and never did I experience any hydroplaning or other lack of traction. I do slow down some on tight curves because of my conservative nature. I'm happy with the stock tires so far. Any off roading I do will not be extreme so I imagine they will be fine there.
 
For ride quality I only buy p metric tires. P rated falken wildpeak at3w 265/70r17 or p rated yokohama G015 in the same aize. Last I checked that's about as big as you can get a P metric tire. Both ride exceptionally well and have good tread life, the Yokos balanced better.

I also really like Michilen LTX At2, have run through 4 sets on various trucks over the years. They ride great, last about 60k and do well with what I've had to tow. Most importantly they do really good in rain, which is a priority for me. Can get them in 18" as factory take offs from Tundras fairly easy and cheap on marketplace/craigslist. I always buy them used as take offs around $400 a set.

I have 1200 miles on a set of Toyo Open Country AT II - stock size. So far so good, decent tread and quiet on the highway. We'll see how they do in a Western NY winter
 
I'm running the Hankook Dynapro ATM's. I have no issues whatsoever with them. They're 2 years old, maybe 15 K miles and show no wear. They're quiet, balance well (and stay balanced) and work well in all weather. They also have the snowflake/mountain symbol for severe winter weather driving.

They don't have the visual "bling" factor of some tires, but I don't care about those things. For the way that I use my T4R, I couldn't have a better tire.
 
I ran Hankook Dynapro ATM's. For some reason this tire was terrible when the road was wet, the tire was less than 6 years old. Seemed like no traction off the line, and when braking.
Then ran Cooper Discoverer ATP. It was night and day concerning performance, loved those tires.
I running BF Goodrich K02 now. Maybe I have a bad set, these tires are hard to balance.
All the tires were stock 265 70/16R. MPG were the same on all 3 sets of tires.
 
I love my Falken Wildpeak 33's E-Load. Super quiet and smooth on the highway and very tough offroad with good grip for an A/T.

I'll be going with the Yokohama Geolander G003 MT in 315/75r16 for my next tire. Seems to have some of the best road manners for an aggressive M/T.
