Can 5th gen wheels work on my 4th gen 4 runner

My stock wheels are showing their age do I'm looking for a new set vs having them stripped and repainted.

I have a 2007 SR5.

Can the 5th Gen wheels fit my vehicle ?

Thanks

Yes. They look great too!

In case you were wondering... 5th gen (SR5) rims on a 4th gen...
5th Gen Wheels on 4th Gen
Do 5th Gen Trail Edition wheels fit on our 4th Gen's?
Anyone put 5th gen Trail Edition Wheels on a 4th gen?

FJ Crusier wheels also fit (17" ones) and look great. (Same specs as 5th gen wheels)

I have the FJ wheels on mine, which I believe are the same as the 5th gen TE wheels. I run 285/70/17 Cooper ATP tires, with ~2.5" lift. I did have the stock bumper on with the lift/tires previously, and did the fender liner trim for clearance. Didn't have to do the body mount chop for daily driving, haven't done any high articulation offroad to know if I need to chop the body mount. No rubbing at all.

285/70/17 on my 2007 SR5. They rub, even with 3 inches of lift and a 1.5" body lift. But they look awesome, so it's worth it.

Thanks for the input, so if I went with the 275 I would be good without any rubbing? Stock high no lift.

Where do yours rub? Curious since I have same size tires, with same wheels, and didn't have any problems after trimming the fender liner, even on less lift.

I'm assuming FJ Trail Team vs 4Runner Trail Edition wheels are the same width/offset, but I don't know if that is accurate.

Mostly the liners, which I've already pushed forward and the frame, which I've also trimmed. The difference probably has to do with the fact that I am running Spidertrax. They push the tires out another 1.25" and that creates more rubbing when turning the wheel.

bringing this back from the dead...quick questions:

what are the offsets of early tacoma/sequoia/GX rims, 5th gen and FJ, compared to stock? when it comes time for me to get 255/75/17 for my 2004 sr5 thick five spokes, i might consider some craigslist takeoffs instead of the $220 for spidertrax. does anyone know the stock offset for my 5-spokes from 2004 sr5?...i see a set of OEM black/gunmetal 2016 4th runner wheels on craigslist new that i might try to score for $500 (asking $650 as of 22 hrs ago when posted.)

Thanks everyone.

The stock 4th gen wheels and SR5 5th gen wheels are -30mm backspacing, and the FJ/Trail Edition/OR wheels are -15mm offset so they stick out a little more than stock. Plenty of UCA clearance for 285s without the hassles of wheel spacers. Also work great with 255/80r17 tires

I'm still flirting with the idea of getting a set of TE (now TRD Trail or whatever) wheels too. I'm really hoping to get rid of my Spidertrax and not have issues with my 285/70 Duratracs but it sounds like there's no consensus and I'll only know once I get them.

Anyway, what's a good price for these wheels anyway? There's a take-off set for $575 on CL here, but I was thinking maybe a slightly used set would go for $400 or so?

Would the gen 5 TPMS sensors also work? Can they be flashed to work on the 4th gen? There are fresh takeoffs from a 2018 with tires and sensors that I'm interested in.
