None of my local dealers Have 09's

None of my local dealers Have 09's yet. In fact the biggest dealer in So Cal Longo Toyota has about 66 2008 4Runners.

I have been watching their inventory and they have only sold 3 4Runners in September. They were at 69 vehicles in the first week of September. I guess the factory will not allocate 09's untill they get rid of the 66 08's still on the lot

My dealer here in WI has quite a few. Although I'm excited to see the Trail Team Edition 4R , the deals on the left over 08's are almost to sweet to pass up.
 
Me too...i really want to see the Trail Edition! My guess is that the local distributor may be holding the '09s and are waiting for the '08 inventory to decrease before releasing them to the dealers.

VPC's (Vehicle Processing Centers) for most car manufacturers are stockpiling and holding back on '09 vehicles since dealer inventories are at all time highs right now. Wouldn't surprise me one bit if there's a huge lot of '09's sitting in Newark right now.

Toyota needs to come out with "Employee Discount for Everyone." :)
