Small things like this make me so mad. You try and help a local business and get such shocking disinterest and laziness.
I am kind of settled on a Daystar 2.5/1.5 lift based on its popularity. I went onto the Daystar website and located the nearest dealer to my zipcode which happened to be JTOUTFITTERS, in Walnut Cove, NC.
Its a tiny little town, but only 20mins or so from where I live.
I checked out their website (JTOutfitters.com | Land Cruiser and Toyota 4wd Info, Vehicles, Parts and More) which looked very cool and they seem to specialize in Toyota's, so I sent them an email ([email protected]):
Me:
"Hi
I found your website through the Daystar website as the nearest dealer for Daystar. I am in Winston-Salem. I am wanting to add a spacer lift kit to my 05 4Runner sport edition (XREAS suspension).
Looks like the most common, easiest, cost effective lift on T4R forum is the Daystar 2.5/1.5.
Daystar - Driven by Design
Have you done one of these lifts before and/or comfortable doing it? Looking for a parts and fitment quote.

I guess my 2nd email should have been something like:
"I was attempting to support a local business but since you either don't have time to fully read and answer my original email or you are just to damned lazy, I'll be glad to pay a cheaper price with an online store and have it delivered to my door.
P.S. I'll be glad to pass on my experience with your store to the many forums I am a member of. Cheers!"
