Im new to Toyota and T4R and lovin it

Hi all,

I just bought a 2004 4Runner Sport 4x4 last Friday due to the family growing and I am in love with this rig!!

I have been a VW freak since I was 16 but have had 4x4's sprinkled in the mix of my last 19 vehicles over the last 13yrs but never a Toyota. I now realize what I have been missing and I'm in love with this Yota...

I'm really looking forward to learning alot on this site as well as sharing information myself.

It's a good feeling isnt it!? Had the same "WOW" moment about...6 months ago when I got mine. Came from a similar, car/import oriented background aswell.

When it's "ready" for some offroading let the WA people know....good bunch around these parts!

This was our trip out to the Gold Bar/Skykomish area about a month ago.

I am right there with you!! Just picked mine up 2 weeks ago.

I love my new to me 4Runner... Super comfy to drive.. Mine had 58k on it also.
 
Great to hear, welcome to the forum! I felt the same way when I got mine last march, just don't catch the mod bug like a lot of members have (self included) it gets expensive.
 
Congrats on the new Runner! Ive been addicted since 2004-ish, when i saw one on the Jersey Turnpike while driving down to VA Beach form Boston.

Since then ive bought a 2003 SE V8, drove it a while and gave it to my wife. Bought a new Sequoia, but missed the Runner. So i traded the Sequoia in (held its value pretty good! Didnt take much of a hit, seriously!) and found a 2008 SE V8 in good ol' Cape Cod.

Congrats on the 4Runner, I had wanted a 3rd gen forever and once the 4th gens came out, I just had to have one. I like those seat covers, anyone know what kind they are?
 
hehe not seat covers, I'm not a fan of cloth with my dog shedding and my 2yr old spilling juice so i had to have leather put in... at first i was worried about the two tone but felt like taking the risk and in person they look really good!
 
pics of the leather installed, i can put the door panel pics up later as i had the armrests re-done in leather too.
