Can you remove the speedo cluster bezel to clean the lens behind it?

Unfortunately, you have to do some disassembly of the dash in order to remove it. I wish it were as easy as just popping out the trim around the gauges, but it's not. And the plastic lens that covers the gauges is notorious for getting easily scratched. It's pretty much impossible to clean it without scratching it.
I thought about buying a new plastic lens for my 4Runner and putting a piece of window tint (very light shade) over it so that I can clean it without scratching it in the future.

Here is a picture I took of the cluster when I last had it out (about 7yrs ago). I see a couple of silver screws that look like they allow you to remove the cover though I'm not sure why you'd ever need to clean it from the inside. I think you need to remove the lower dash trim, steering column trim and cluster trim to get access to it -- nothing you couldn't do in 30mins or less.

I forgot where but someone had posted a part number for just the clear plastic cover, honestly I've gotten slightly annoyed by my scratched up one and may replace it in the near future if I ever feel like tearing into the dash.
Just wondering..has anyone tried clear plastic polish like what is used on motorcycle helmet face screens and also on boat plastic windows? I've used Novus polish #2 and been amazed at the results on my boat windows.
