To the orig. poster and his question . I really dont think you can go wrong with either 3 that are on your list.
For the other war being discussed.........
I have had 15 or so sets of BFG AT's starting in 1985. (my Uncle was VP there so.... free tires) At the time I thought they worked well , but as time went on my opinion changed. I found them to have bad wet road traction , bad wet off road traction and poor street manners . Off roading in dry/dirt or rocky conditions they were good tires . Never ever had a flat or puncture. I will not buy them again . (personal preference)
When i got my 4TH gen. 4x4 06 V8 Sport I switched to a new tire with in a day . Mostly because of this board and wanting to upsize . I purchased Bridgestone Dueler Revos (Gen 1) P265/70/17. I did not like the look of them as to me they look like an aggressive all season tire than an all terrain tire , but I gave them a shot . great ride , great wet , great dry , minimal off road ability. They were ok in snow , but was disappointed as I think they were over hyped in that area. Had numerous flats ect... off road i did not trust them at all . As soon as it was a little wet or mud it was all over. Overall it was a good tire , had good street manners , good milage and always got me back home . would I buy them again .... possible , but doubtful at this time.
5th gen , I switched off my stock tire and was in a hurry because of weather and went with Firestone Dest AT's . Its probably the best one I've had so far . Same UNI-T compound as Revo's , more aggressive style , good in snow , wet rain , not so much in mud , but none of these listed are a mud tire. I feel better about the FS AT's than I did with BFG's or the Revo's (cant comment on Revo2, since I never had them) . Will I buy again.... possible , but doubtful at this time only because I would like to try the GYSA, Duratec's or Nitto TG's .
There are a lot of good AT's on the market now compared to years ago when it was mainly BFG's market. I personally think BFG has been riding there own coat tails for to long and has really slipped in new tire technology and compounds and development. Although looks wise its the best looking AT on the market. The best RWL imo (if your into that).
Remember that this is just MY experience. Every part of the country has different types of pavement , mud and snow that they drive in so what might work well form some in Colorado might not be the best choice for someone in New England. Thats what makes it so hard to pick a good one since SO much depends on a tires performance , from air pressure , altitude , dry or wet snows , pavement type , personal driving habits , and so on.......
