any tips on filling the r-150 transmission?

i'm wrapping up my 5 speed conversion and i decided too change my trans and transfer fluid. i know it calls for 75-90w but i'm planning on putting in 85-140w due to the fact that it's got 250k on it and i'm pretty sure the thicker oil wont hurt anything but maybe make it quieter.

my question is does anybody have any tips for getting the oil in the tranny? it looks like a PITA.
