Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) - any recommendations in the Denver area?

A tree branch fell on the hood on our 4Runner and left a nasty dent. I've had paintless dent repair done on other vehicles in the past with great results, but the person I'd always used has moved out of the state. I think this dent will be a difficult one to repair, as it's close to the hood's edge and on a body-line. It also cracked the paint, but I'd rather live with a paint touch-up than having the hood repainted (which is otherwise flawless).

Does anyone have experience with someone in the Denver area or along the Colorado front range you'd recommend? Thanks in advance!

I may or may not have a recommendation for you later this week - having some PDR done on my truck on Thursday.

Found a group with great Yelp reviews, made an appointment for last Saturday and showed up and the shop was closed. I left a terrible yelp review, the owner got back to me quickly and explained they'd had some personal issues come up and were terribly sorry, yada yada yada but offered to come to me and repair my smaller dents for free and my larger dent for 50% off. So, if they actually come through with quality work, I'll be happy to update my yelp review and share their info with you lol.

Until then, can't recommend, obviously. Wish me luck!

Superior Auto Image Denver CO - Tinting, Clear Bra, Dent Repair, Detailing

This place just replaced the antenna on my wifes car after she clipped it off when the old garage door didn't open all the way. it caused some damage on the roof and they did a good job getting the dents out.
She was really happy with how honest they were about costs and how they shot holes in the estimate provided by the dealership (which was way more money to begin with).

I just got an estimate from Front Range Automotive Solutions & Dent Removal for $418.50. That included additional charges for the dent being on a body line and to remove (and reinstall) the hood. The estimator said that, due to the dent being so close to the hood's edge, their work would probably include glue pulling. He said that there's a chance that some paint could pull off as a result, especially since the paint was chipped by the dent. That's a bit concerning, especially after seeing another thread talking about how crummy Toyota paint is. The last thing I want is some large touch-up right in my line of sight from inside, or to need to have the whole hood repainted.

They get good Google and Yelp reviews. The shop seems quite professional.

Anyway, I think I'll get a couple more estimates before proceeding further.

Ok - the aforementioned dent repair place was "The Dent Man of Colorado" and Adam is the owner who promised to make things right with me.

One of his guys, Tyler, came out to my office in DTC today and did a nice job. Repaired one quarter-sized door ding and another larger dent in my rear hatch. I was trying to align a trailer on my hitch and was leaning against the hatch while using my leg to push the trailer away from the truck to align it and my ass popped a big dent in the hatch left left of the license plate where several weird contours come together. He spent about 90 minutes working on that dent and while not 100% perfect, I think he did about as well as possible without risking any paint issues. I told him I was happy with it despite not being 100% back to normal, it's about 98% there - hard to tell in the before photo but the dent affected a pretty wide area and several contours, so a very tricky spot to get back to normal. He was super nice and professional and didn't mind me watching him work for awhile. He indicated it would have been about $400 worth of work, but given the situation that had occurred as described in my first post, they only charged me $75 which I think was more than fair.

Long story short, assuming my misfortune the first try was a one-time thing, they ultimately came through on a promise to make it right and performed quality work. Would recommend.

I did take some before photos, I'll see if I can get some after photos and post them up tomorrow.
