I had the same prob. on #3, it was the injector dumping fuel in the fuel rail after I shut off the engine or if I just drove around town at low speeds

I replaced my water pump and timing belt, for some unknown reason the pump is leaking at the gasket, is there a good stop leak to temp. stop the leak until I have the time to take it apart again:crybaby:

fixed mine I had the same problem on my2000 3.4 and ran a check at a parts dealer and found #3 missfiring,it ended up being a fuel injector,it was dumping gas into #3 cylinder after I shut it off so try that if no luck yet

ok I have to replace the #3 injector, so can I just remove the throttle body or do I to remove it all to get the injector out, and if just the throttle body is the fuel rail flexable with out damaging it, I've read where one just remove the throttle body and another person removes the hole...
