I have a new (used) '03 4Runner and I noticed that the tach never revs above 3000. It's around 1000 most of the time but even when I punch it, it never gets to 3K. I'm assuming this is normal? Thanks.

Has anyone debadged their 4Runner 6 years later? I'm concerned that if I take off the emblems, the paint will show fading. Plus, I've always cut them off with fishing line and cleared off the adhesive with Goo Gone. Is that a bad idea? Thanks!
