Help Fixing Tweaked Lower Control Arm

Hey Guys, I'm rebuilding a spare set of LCA's. The inner distance between the bushings on one LCA doesn't look right. I measured 260mm on both LCA's on my vehicle as well as the one on the left. The one on the right is 257.5mm. What is the best way to move it back out? I was thinking a bottle...

Recondition Front Wheel Hub Seal Surface

Hey Guys. Refreshing a pair of front wheel hubs. There was some corrosion on the surface where the outer wheel seal rides. Two pics attached for reference. How should I address this? I was thinking asking a machine shop to take the surface down 0.25mm or 0.5mm. Doesn't look like the seal has...

Lindenwood - not yet, doing my homework before buying them. Anyone have pics of grey TRD Pro rims on a millennium silver 4runner?

TRD Pro Rim with stock suspension?

So I see 265/75R16 as the generally accepted largest tire size on a stock rim with no or minimal rubbing. This is the same size as 265/70R17 which I would put on the TRD Pro Rim. Am I missing something with wheel offsets or should it just work? This is for a daily driver that does no...

    Front ABS O-ring Sealing

I removed the ABS sensor from the front steering knuckle as part of the procedure to replace the wheel bearing. When removed I picked out an old o-ring which I expected but then there was another plastic piece in the hole. Was this part of the ABS sensor meant to retain the o-ring or something...

Front end too high after shock replacement

    Hub center to fender is ~22" in the front and ~20" in the back. <a href="http://s1026.photobucket.com/user/MacGyver0/media/20170919_172519.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1026.photobucket.com/albums/y328/MacGyver0/20170919_172519.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo 20170919_172519.jpg"/></a>

Front end too high after shock replacement

I replaced the front shocks on my '99 limited with Bilstein 4600 series replacements and put in new top hats in at the same time. My front end is now almost 2.5" higher than it was before. I want to get it back to the correct stock height. Any ideas what to look for?

Rear Driveshaft Replacement Options 99 Limited

I figured I'd update this thread to help anyone who had the same problem. I opted for the Tom Wood's Driveshaft since I needed something new that would be a one time fix for my daily driver. The shops in my area focus mainly of drag race cars and sports cars so I didn't use a local vendor. The...

Rear Driveshaft Replacement Options 99 Limited

It's finally gotten to point I have to replace the rear driveshaft in my 99 limited. The slip yoke is too badly worn from the previous owner never lubricating it. Lubricating every few months worked for a few years then used Ford XG-8 to get a few more months but now that doesn't work either...

    Caliper Rebuild - Piston Question

I'm rebuilding a set of calipers for the Tundra brake upgrade. When I removed the pistons there are a few scuffs on the chrome. Can these be polished out or used as is? They all have the same imperfections. I'd like to avoid buying 8 new pistons if possible. Pics:

Grease Leaking into U-joint when filling Slip Yoke

I went to do the periodic lubrication of the rear driveshaft slip yoke but when I tried greasing the slip yoke the grease started pushing out the rear of the driveshaft into the u-joint. How do I stop the grease from leaking? Here is a markup of a picture I found on google so you know what I mean.
