Hey man I get the same P0136 error. Is it possible that the catalytic converter itself is old and less efficient?

Hey Folks, I need a 'new' tailgate, at least rust free, for my 1998. The truck is black but it seems so rare to find that I don't care at this point. I live in the Ottawa (capital) region. Any hints from fellow Canadians or even a good used online store??? thanks! Pat

Just came out of the garage and somehow I feel like it goes 5-10% less to the floor but here what the mechanics said: 1. High quality brake pads used at about 20% max 2. Brake oil system was bled although no previous sign of leakage 3. Rear cylinder in good condition Any ideas?? thanks fellas Pat

I was told that the manual locking hubs (ASAIN) for 89-95 4runners could also fit on a 3rd gen 4runners. I own a 98. Any thoughts on this?? I looking for some hubs but I cant find much online.... Thanks Pat

It was pouring outside and I noticed (mostly when I turned left) that water was pouring over my left foot (on the foot rest). Happened about 4-5 times in a 20 min drive......any idea??

Hey troops, When I fully turn my steering wheel to either side (driving or steady), it shakes and there's a ''squeeky'' sound, the same kind of sound as if my tire would rub on my frame.... Any idea? Pat

I have been looking under the hood of a few 3rd gen Hilux surf (1996-2000). Some of them have the 2.7L gasoline and others have the 3.0L diesel or turbo-diesel engines. What's your thoughts on them? Which one would you choose if you only carried dogs and light camping equipment (no tow needs)...
