1986 Toyota 4Runner 4WD 4 cylinder non-turbo There is a small metal hose that leads from the dryer to the condencer (i think). that is cracked at the connection point. I cant find the name of this part and am unsure where to find a replacement. Can anyone help? Thanks...

It's not the original head and everything. We heard people sometimes use softer metals when making those. We have the oem one and may use that. Pistons 2 and 3 have give.

Update: Took head off and continued ahead... Cylinder 2 and 3 have vertical give and locks up on the way down (broken rod?) SOMEHOW we broke the laws of physics and science, how did the lobes on the camshaft get grounded down??? They are no longer lobes but small hills...

We are trying to bump the starter to break loose the crank bolt but the starter wont...start. We hear the 'click' sound but nothing else happens. We already disconnected all the plugs from the main harness, is this the reason? 1986 Toyora 4runner 4WD 22RE fuel injected.

I havent done any work in a few months, I last did new umm, forgot what its called, timing chain cover, new timing chain and new camshaft/springs/valves/head, and new head gasket. I could never actually find the correct timing. The timing of when it runs best is off the charts (Not on the crank...

I have a 86 4runner 4wd and I was wondering if anyone else had these shocks. I want a smooth ride but not so bouncy when i hit a bump. (around town; whats a good number?) Then whats a good number adjustment for off roading on hard terrain. Is 9 = stiff and 1 = soft?

Will any sparco seats or similar brand (racing bucket seats) fit in a 1986 toyota 4runner? I like the seats and I want to know if I can install them myself or if I will have to have them professionally installed? Thanks

Run whatever your manual says. Your car will run best at that octane rating. Your computer expects that certain octane. You may get worse mpg if you dont use the recommended octane rating.
