U really think just the yoke would make the whole thing need balancing? It's just the front flange that I damaged. Should I just pull the flange off the new part and install it on my existing driveshaft with a new U joint?

I damaged my prop shaft removing a u joint. Found a used slip yoke on Ebay. Can I just slide this one into my existing driveshaft? Or is that a bad idea?

88 22re When I turn the lights on the rpms drop 100 or so at idle, not a real big deal. But if I have lights and the fan on at the same time, the rpms drop 2-300 rpms and the motor struggles to run. Is my alternator crapping out and not putting out enough juice? Something else?

I think disconnecting the drive shaft is probably safer. Something about the bearings in the Tcase not getting lubed in neutral. So does anyone know of a tow bar that mounts up front without too much modification?

I am going to install an aftermarket temp gauge in my 88 with 22re. What color is the hot wire for the ignition switch? I need that to power the gauge. Then what color is the wire for the lights? I need to know which ones to tap into. Thanks.

I've got a 2 row in now and it runs hot when running hard with the a/c on. I'm going to swap out the radiator, any reason not to go with a 3 row? I will use this thing off roading so low speed cooling is important to me. 88 22re with A/C

At cold start (fast idle) it sucks air hard through the radiator, easily holding a piece of paper up to the grill. Once fully warm (normal idle), it barely seems to suck. If I shut it off and reach down in there, I can easily spin the fan around with no resistance. 88 22re. Is that normal?

It does come back down to normal within a minute. It just bothers me. You don't think I am causing any kind of real long term problems? I just spend good coin on this new motor and cut no corners. I really want it to last. The odd thing is that this never happened with the original motor...

Yeah, already did that, and checked all the easy stuff.

88 22re with brand new motor. Got a temp overshooting condition that only happens with heater valve open. I tried installing the TSB recommended dual stage thermostat and it still happens. What now? I don't like my new motor overheating at all, even if just for a minute.
