01 CDL info

I just finished reading through the T-csae Differences thread that brian2sun did and feel well informed about my options.

I have another question though. Other then driving and feeling the difference between having the CDL locked or unlocked, how do you know if it is locked/unlocked? Is there suppose to be a dash light that indicates if it is turned on/off? I was messing around with this last night and have no illumination on the CDL button itself or on the dash, no matter if the button has been pushed or not.

Thanks,
Mike

For what it is worth, the CDL button is a momentary button. You push it to lock it and push it again to unlock it. When you cut the 4runner off, it resets itself back to off.

It's really just to keep the wife from nagging at me to fix it.
