01 Gauge cluster led's help request

It actually looks like the blue color hides the hot spots (and dim spots) better than the white ones I got. It's really noticeable on the white ones I got from superbrightled. But yeah, wax paper will probably help quite a bit.

I think I'm going to switch mine out to the 3 led ones from autolumination.

I did mine lastnight aswell, I'm really satisfied with the look and yeah the hotspots are only there if you're looking for them if that makes sense?

Here's mine:

We used the same lights, just different colors. My dim spots definitely look way dimmer though. Looks like you made a good choice by going with the blue ones!

I'm actually starting to wonder if all the leds are even on in mine lol. I'm going to have to take everything apart again to look at it.

I know it may seem like im a bit ignorant about this haha but i do know the bulbs are polarized I made that mistake on the first try lastnight

Haha yeah the funny part is I tested all of the other ones, and had to switch around almost every single one because of that. Yet, I didn't think to test the gauge ones :doh: Oh well, I'll probably end up replacing them with the 3 led ones anyway, and when I do that I'll make sure to double check that they're all on!

through trial and error, probably $50. depending on where you get them, prices are different.

I found 3 different #74's. Sorry for the haggling, I just want to make sure I get the right bulbs, and you seem like you know your stuff.
