02 sr5 with 99 tall coil's

New member who is trying to get informed. Swapping rusted out frame and replacing suspension. Decided to go with 99 tall because only want minimal lift and like OEM ride (90% DD will use my 2500 to tow). I tried searching OEM shocks with no luck. I already have part #'s for the 99's. My question is do I go with 99 OEM shocks to match springs or with 02 which match the vehicle? Most searches say they are the same shock but part #'s are different. My thought is 99 spring would over extend 02 shock. Also open to the 5100's but heard they ride is a little stiff for DD.

Either one will work. All the 4Runner OEM shocks have the same dimensions, they might just be valved slightly differently.

4600's are also an option. I put them on my 4Runner when it was still my dad's - no complaints from him. Slightly stiffer than stock at low speed, but comfortable at higher speeds - but then again, any new shock should be stiffer than worn out originals.

i looked and this might fit here in this thread.

my son has a 2016 taco trd 4x4 with under 40 k on it. he recently bought a 3 inch lift for it. will his front springs fit front of my 2000 4runner and do any kind of lift ?
Im a highlander with a stock 1 inch lift, but my front end needs refreshing and I replaced my rear shocks a few months ago ( gonna do new talls in back and refresh suspension, bushings etc, all around this summer as well as front shocks and springs)
