let me know how much you want for the passenger rear door cladding and the beginning of the rear flare for passenger side.

Hey, a bit OT but did you remove your roof rack or did your 4runner come without one? I've seen a few 4th gens without a rack but it's not common.

Why didnt you just paint the cladding black? Im interested to see how the bumpers will tie into things.

To be different I guess, I like the "raw" look. Yeah it looks terrible now with the grey front bumper, blue paint, black gloss be liner and light grey wheels...too much going on. I'm hoping to get the bumpers done this month to finish the look.

I dont think anyone realizes that there are a lot of threads about grey cladding. Nothing will stick to it. Everyone that paints it says that if chips right off. Bedliner has worked for some, but not others. Its almost like it has a light wax coating.

Personally, its not for my truck. I can see the advantages though. The cladding is THICK, so it makes the truck a good 3''+- thinner. Now there is no worry of messing the cladding up offroad, and it can always be reinstalled if you change your mind. (Assming you dont sell it all lol).

Paint matched the ugly as sh*t bedliner

Really need to get my bumper builds going

My cladding is coming loose at the front on both front doors and I wasn't sure how many clips and tape was used to mount them, so your pics have been a big help.

Where did you get the new clips from? Dealership?

Good luck with your mods.

A member of this forum bought an excess of clips and sold the rest he did not need. I will post the thread where another member mentioned Ebay sells similar clips for a lot less.

Honestly if I were going to remove the cladding, I'd just pull/roll/weld the fenders to replace the missing cladding; hell while I'm at it, why not trim and extend them for 35's. :)4

The negative scalloping really only hurts the vehicle visually, sorta like how the Ford F150's had that weird looking fender crease. Bleh
