03 rear hatch won't open!

The guy who replaced my rear window glass made it so my electronic rear hatch lock won't work, open or close. I've looked at the connections the fuses and I can't figure it out. Also, I know about the manual unlock...thanks for any help...

Have you taken the truck back to the installer yet? My guess is he probably unplugged the wires to electronic lock/latch and forgot to plug them back.

Who replaced the glass? If a company you paid money to replace the glass did it, make them liable for repairing this function that they broke... Just my thought...

I agree...seems easy enough to check the connections...and we did when he replaced the window...so...the truck is under warrenty...it's just a pain to take it in...I figure there must be a reset switch or this happens enough that they put a manual release on it...

Before you take it in, try to unplug the negative battery terminal and leave it off for 15 minutes. Reconnect it and you may have to reprogram things like the auto up/down windows auto-close/open sunroof, radio etc. Then try the rear hatch...

"resetting" the truck has solved some wierd problems before so it's a quick and cheap thing to try...
