It took me about 7 months :lmao: It shouldn't take that long if you work straight through (I just stopped working on it for months at a time) but some things do take time to dry and such.

The cutting & fitting process took about 30 min - an hour, the fiberglass took maybe 30-40 min, bondo and sanding is what took the most time and I spent a lot of time on that but honestly couldn't tell you how many hours because I did slowly over a very extended period.

This part would take much less time for a body shop or someone good to do but I'm pretty new to it working with fiberglass & bondo so it took me a while. The bondo is what was a PITA (and I have an orbital sander & dreml); sanding, adding more bondo, more sanding, more bondo, etc..

I'm no expert with paint either but I'm pretty happy with the job I did.

I spent about an hour or two working on the grill but that would've been less if my jigsaw blade guide hadn't broken, which combined with the cut-stop-cut-stop process of cutting the expanded sheet, caused the saw to spit out the (very hot!) blade every so often.

looks great, i am going to be doing the same. I was looking for the headlights and found that there is a difference between the sport edition and the non sport. Which ones did you use??

I think the ones I used were both regular lamps, the difference is that the SE lamps have a bit more of a smoked look to the chrome. If you plan on painting them black it won't matter, but if not you'll want to get matching ones.

thanks so much for the quick reply. I just wanted to make sure it wasnt any type of fit difference. Im going to go with the sport in that case since i have the sport model anyways.
