Anyone have a walkthrough on how to change the spark plugs on a 04 T4R Sport V6? I am sure it is not too difficult but am new to working on 4Runners. Also, is there a place with a PDF of the factory service manual? THank you.

And it's really not that hard. There's nothing fancy and super easy thing for anyone to do

one of them on the driver's side you'll see is behind a bracket so you have to use either a swivel, a long extension at a kind of odd angle or whatever. It's not too hard other than that one. I put iridiums in mine for the longer change interval and they've been fine... and no need to gap them

What would be the best brand or spark plug in terms of performance, reliability, price, and quality?
I remember on my last oil change that they were wanting to change a series of things calling it a "tune up" but were going to charge a cr4p ton for it so I am going to do it on my own...

The OEM plugs for the 4runner are Denso and NGK.
There are NO ..let me repeat...NO performance gains by ANY plug. Never have been never will be. The ONLY advantage to Platinum or Iridium plugs is that they last longer...PERIOD.
You can get the Platinum or Iridium plugs. But be careful when you have to remove the plugs after they've been sitting in the engine for 5+ years. Personally I just stick with the standard (copper) plugs and change them out every year. My wifes Lexus...Only Iridium plug is available. No other plug is made for her car.
