05 Tundra Wheels on 4Runner with Tundra Brakes

Do you guys think $200 is a good price? The picture I posted is one of the actual wheels for sale. I'm thinking of painting them black or possibly just part of them black if I get them.

The wheels will fit without a doubt and $200 is a good price for a set of OEM wheels, not too high, not too low. I personally think black wheels hide the design of them so if you were just going for black, paint yours and save yourself $200.

Well what I'm thinking is maybe doing high gloss black paint on all the areas except the parts on each spoke that are raised out further. I agree black does hide the design though. It seems like matte black does more than glossy black though. And with painting only those parts I think it may look good. Everyone's thoughts on that?

One problem with high gloss paints is that if the wheels have any blemishes on them, they'll be very noticeable. This kept me from doing a gloss paint when I was considering painting my wheels. I found some chrome LC80 wheels and had them sandblasted Whig resulted in pitting because the aluminum wheels are softer. I had to go with a matte, textured powder to hide the pitting.

These are some of my favorite wheels, on a tundra.
I think they look like hell on a 3rd gen.
200 is a steal for my area... I'd buy and flip for closer to 500.

I'd like to see what they look like on a 4Runner if anyone has any pictures. Here's my deal. I have the Tundra brake upgrade. So with my stock wheels it requires a 1/4 inch spacer. I want to do away with the spacers because I don't want to cause any extra wear on the bearings. If anyone knows of any other wheels that would be fairly cheap that would fit without spacers that would be great. I'd like everyone's opinions on which wheels look the best as well.

If you'll click on the link that I posted earlier there is a list of wheels that are confirmed to work with the TBU. Also, there are tons of pics on the site of different wheel setups - search through some of the build threads and find some that you like.

I did find a couple of pictures of the 05-06 TRD Tundra wheels on a 3rd gen. I really like the way they look a lot. I may not even paint them if I get them.

Everyone's personal tastes are different, if you like them that's all that matters! Like others said though, they do fit just fine.
I'm personally not a fan of the 5-spoke "star" wheels and unlike most people, I actually kinda of like the split-6 stock wheels. To each his own!

I think I have only seen these on light color 4Runners. That looks great, in my opinion.

They compliment 3rd gens with the right lift and tires. I think they look just as good as 5 stars, but everyone's got an opinion! One reason I like them is because they aren't as common as 5 stars on 3rd gens. A little dirty in this pic, which is right after my c/o install.PHP:
Ahh yes they look pretty amazing in my opinion. I found out they come with tires also (only 1/4 tread left but still). He also went down to $150 so yeah I'm probably going to take them immediately as long as they aren't in bad shape. The pictures look good though. I don't like the Tundra wheels that everyone else puts on their 4Runners. Those ones with ten thin spokes (star shaped).
