05 VSC Issues

I curently have an 05 4runner v-8 4x4 sport model. Last weekend on the way home San DIego, the check engine light, vsc, trac and a car skidding came on. I figured i would take it to the dealer but the lights went off. Took it to the dealer and they found nothing wrong, typical.

\Well last night i was comming home and they all came on again. I also noticed an odor similar to when you ride the brakes. I took it to the dealer and thats is where she sits today. Has any one else have had this kind of issues? I only have 9800 miles. This is my 5th Toyota, and the first one i have had any issues with.

if you cel (check engine light) came on, they'll know exactly what the problem is. based on that, you'll be able to know what the exact problem is coming from.

if you want to know what the problem is, post up the error code and we'll help ya locate the issue.

Sounds to me like the Yaw sensor needs
recalibrating..

If your Check Engine light came on a code
was recorded in the ECU and can be read
with a OBD tester.

I would take my T4R to another dealership
as these folks have no idea what they are doing.

Thats is what the did, something with the VSC senor, it was reprogramed. The CE light was an 02 sensor on the exaust. That would explain the 12 mpg i have gotten on my last tank.
