ya the dealers in pa. have them finally!the oem toyota part number is (pt427-89060)i have not put it on and wont till around x-mas.i got it for my girls ride as a gift but i will keep ya posted as soon as i do put it on.the price is about 108.00 with the 10% discount i get its retail price is 120.00.looks like it mounts with brackets that go into the 3rd. slots on each side of the grill and hook to the engine side of the grill and 2 more brackets on each side toward the outside ends which attach with well nuts.

go with the dealer so atleast if soething is wrong you can save on s/h charges and the dealer says it fits this time great.some of the aftermarket shields dont cover over the top edge of the grill and i just feel thats a chance that is open for rocks to ding up the paint in them locations.there is one in this thread thats oem and one thats aftermarket see what you think.they both look great though
I ordered one from a local dealer...$96 + tax. it is amazing how easy it is to negotiate with the dealer parts department. the dealer shot me $120, i informed him that they are $80 online, he came back and said that $96 was the best he could do...do to the size the bug guard the dealer was cheaper because no shipping. Last month, a dealer matched the online price for my exhaust tip and front skid plate. At least the dealers know they are overpriced!!!

Couple of quick questions....
Are the center grill brackets just a "J" hook that clips to the grille or do they attach to something I couldn't see in the pic?
And I'm also curious about the carwash durability. Specifically the kind with the million MPH blower that dries your car. I lost my last bug shield to one of those during the winter. (Ok admittedly I knew it was way too cold to take the truck through but I thought I'd give it a shot.)

Finally made it over to the dealer to pick up my bug shield this afternoon. Opened the box and was struck by two thoughts: 1. I'm surprised by the amount of tape that gets attached to the truck. I guess it's better than having your paint or chrome rubbed off; but still unexpected. 2. The ends of the shield are really floppy; I believe Pickerdd when he says that it doesn't move once attached but man, it's like a wet noodle.
Oh well, I'll be happy to have it on, winter has finally arrived here and the DPW has been merrily tossing boulder size rocks on the road to combat the snow & ice. I swear the rock salt & sand chunks get bigger every year.

the one i got didnt have any bumpers all it had was teflon tape that attached to the brackets that go around the chrome plastic on the grill and also around the brackets that went around the hood it self on the outside ends of the bug shield.it took me about 20 minutes to install and havent had any issues so far at speeds of 70 plus.
Went to the Stealer here yesterday and got quoted $135.00 for the new shield. I even tried referencing the member here that was able to convince this Stealer to sell for $95ish (pickerd I believe). They had an open boxed one they would part for at $95, but it was really marred up.
Found this Texas based Toyota deal that has an ebay site, he wants $95 + 12 shipping and handling if anyone is interested. I'm going to try to use this to get a local shop to come down in price.

FYI - EGR stated that their shields are in development and should be arriving in June '07. EGR makes a nice hood/bug shield for the third gens (see Jason B's site for an idea). I would hope that their '06/'07 product is along those lines so I might wait and see how it compares.
Just to elaborate a little more on pickerdd excellent instructions, I just installed mine this evening, and discovered a few other things that will help future members. Another really wierd thing, one of the (4) Outside hood brackets was a defect. I went ahead and used it for now, and Ill see what I can do to get it replaced.
