Hello everyone! I have been searching for the best price on an 06 Limited 4x4 4runner V6 with Navigation. So far, this is what I have...

MSRP: $42,016
No Haggle Price: $36,548
Plus Tax, Tags and dealer processing fee of $99.

Should I continue shopping...or go with this price?

It sounds like a good deal to me. I am shocked you were able to find a V6 with nav. That is definitely not a common configuration. Does the 4Runner have any other options on it?

I have seen plenty V6 with Nav around here. Maybe it's a Maryland thing?

Some of the options are:

Side Curtain Airbags, Navigation System w/JBL Synthesis Audio, Rear Spoiler, Daytime Running Lights, Power Sunroof, Tow Hitch, in-Dash 6 CD Player With MP3.

Some of these things may be standard, but my brain is mush after reading up on these things so much.

Sounds like a great deal, I just picked up a Black 06' LE w/ V8, nav,and some other goodies for 37k.
But that was here in So. Cal.

Are you anywhere in the DC/Baltimore metro area? With the price you gave, to me, that sounds like a quote from CarMax in Laurel...?

If that's where you are buying from, rest assured that's about as good a deal as you're going to find anywhere on the east coast. I bought my '04 Sport from them and checked a dozen dealers from NJ down to VA and none could even come within 1,000 of CarMax's "No-Haggle Price".

I have never had a more pleasant car buying experience anywhere.

And, of course, if that's not where your quote is from, and you're anywhere in the area, they are well worth the drive to pay a visit to.

That's the exact configuration I want... carpoint.com shows an invoice $37,112 and I believe carpoint's price doesn't include holdback, TDA, etc. Looks like a below invoice price to me. Are there rebates? We have a $1000 rebate on V6 and V8 in NorCal.

That price is too good to be true. Invoice on that truck should be close to $38,000. Jump on it if it's that's the case. That beats the Carmax price by over a $1000 on the same truck.

Yes...I am in Laurel MD. Actually, I was going to go with Carmax...but this a dealer in Silver Spring and beats Carmax by about $500.

This includes the $750 toyota rebate and a $500 rebate from the dealer.

I considered waiting til the end of the month to see if toyota came up with any more rebates...but I think I may go ahead and get this truck before I lose the color/options I want.

Sounds like a good deal. I would like you to clarify as I seem to be getting bogus info from the dealer: Are you getting the Nav WITH the indash 6-disc CD changer?

I have a 2006 Limited V8 w/Nav "on order" and there was significant debate as to whether that was available. Bad enough that since I want the Shadow Mica color, I have to wait. It seems though, that nobody can tell me how long I'll have to wait. It's already been a month....

Just put a deposit down on it tonite. The one I have been looking at for a week sold this morning, but they found me one "in port" and will honor the same pricing. Only difference in the two trucks is the new one has the Preferred Accessory Package...an additional $169.

And to clarify...yes...it has a Nav WITH the in dash 4-disc CD changer. I have the dealer's vehicle report detail in hand and it is clearly stated as such.

So...my final price...$36,161...plus tax, tags and dealer processing of $100.

end of month

i would wait till end of month and make sure they have it in stock , rebates and dealer incentives will get bigger , but at all these big 5-6 k discounts you all did very good, i worked for toyota 5+ years, i have a 4 runner older 95, but a nice one, i just brought a bmw 5 series on the 29th of nov, they never give much discounts on these cars but i got 3 k off which sounds bad by toyota standards, but its really a deal on an 06 5 series, i went every where to her 1k off 1200.00 off, waited till end of the month and bang, they were a dealing 48k car for 45k this is one fine car
