06 TR4 4WD Sport: I want to add oem navi system do I need oem JBL amp & sub

06 TR4 4WD Sport: I want to add oem navi system do I need oem JBL amp & sub as well as the navi unti? If so I found one for a : 2003-2005 and my TR4 is an 06? Will it work and do I really need it before the navi itself? If I need it is really hard to install and do I need new plastic interior parts and brackets and stuff for install in the back, do I need to run wires all through and is there a kit I can get or is there a thread. Please help if possible. Thanks

Why do you want the OEM Navi? Unless your getting a good deal on it, you can get an aftermarket double din that almost looks stock and does more. Check out my cardomain page in my signature and you will see my Kenwood double din head unit

Thanks for the reply. I just thought OEM would be kind of cool especially becasue I don't think you could get NAVI as an option in the 06 Sport. Your 4Runner is sweet. I love the Sport, I had a SR5 06 and I just traded and upgraded to the Sport. Much better. I am surprised I thought this forum was pretty helpful although I have not made many posts in the past. I thought people would chime in and help me out but you were the only one to repond and help. Thanks

Why put in a subpar OEM nav unit.I just had a Pioneer AVIC Z110BT installed,fantastic unit with many features.Aftermarket is the way to go,there are great units fromPIONEER,KENWOOD,ECLIPSE,ETC.

On sale at crutchfield for 1199.99,comes with 200.00 rebate and free rear camera,I live in Phila. suburbs so had the unit installed at ALL THAT JAZZ in Philly for 200.00.Well worth the price considering Toyota charges 2000.00 up front for the OEM unit.
