And it is a interference engine, meaning you don't want to go much past the 90,000 miles before you change it.

4.7 has a belt, 90k miles or 9years is the prescribed interval. Replacing the water pump, idler pulleys and tensioner is always a good idea when changing the timing belt. Replacing the belt is a labor intense job. The aforementioned parts all require disassembly/reassembly on a very similar level to the belt change. It's one of those "if your in there you mine as well...." deals.

May as well have the valve shims checked and throw in some new plugs. :
