Although I like the larger lifts of the 2/1 or DS 2.5 , I do think the 1" leveling kit is a good way to go to get a little more clearance up front , level it out a bit , and prevent rubbing if you run the upsize tires ( which I do ) but have no rubbing issues. Even Steven said that his front is still a little nose down which is fine with me since I pull a trailer a lot . I dont know how the running boards or tube steps measure out front to back . I also think for a daily driver its the most practical way to go and gives just a slightly different look than the stock ones , especially if you have the 70 series tires on .
