I'm going and will be my first event! Was heading down with adio3x and the Missouri crew but wife took a traveling position in Anderson South Carolina. So if anyone in that or the Charlotte NC area plan on attending let me know and we can cruise down together.

Ill be registering for passenger when that opens up. Don't know who to ride with still but my husband and I enjoyed ourselves last year!

I am very interested in attending! It looks like a great event that is well put together. I have a few questions though.

Would I be able to do much out there with a stock 2001 4x4? It's mostly stock with a refreshed stock suspension and a set of good stock sized BFG Rugged Terrains (not the awful Rugged Trails). There is a chance I would have a small lift, sliders, or maybe bigger sized tires 265/75/16 instead of 265/70/16 by then, but none of that is guaranteed so I'm wondering if I could do any of the trails with my truck as it sits?

I am new to off roading as well but would love to learn from others with more experience. Would people there be willing to help me learn as I go? I don't want to be a burden slowing everyone down either... Around here in Alabama we have dirt roads and mud and that's about it. Nothing too exciting that I have found yet so I don't have much experience.

Please come on out. There are trails for beginners and stock vehicles. I recommend you also ride as passenger in other trucks to get an idea of what the more challenging trails are like and observe the more modded rigs in action.

Out of everything you listed as possible mods, I would rank the rock sliders as top priority, and lift as the next priority. The organized stock vehicle run last year went on a trail that had some tight turns in a trench. Even though your vehicle can clear those turns, it is still a good idea to have sliders on to protect in the event you turn too tightly.

The other nice thing about this event is the massive giveaways. You might just win some products for your 4R. =)

You are good to go, this will be my 2nd year running a stock 86 runner with 265s. I will have sliders this year, but didnt need them last and i did some 3 diamonds. But i have been at this for a while.The guides and fellow wheelers will take good care of you.

Going to up my game this year and run 32s,4.56 gears and 1.5 bj spacers. With sliders of course. Hope to see you out there!

Ok, that's what I figured that there would be some trails for people like me. I would love to ride along on some of the more complex trails as well. I think the sliders are probably the most likely to happen. I can't see upgrading to bigger tires yet because when I bought the truck it had brand new tires on it and I don't want to just throw those out... I'll probably wait for the lift as well just to get some more out of the stock replacement suspension.

The only issue with the sliders is the ones I really want are the BAMF ones and I'm not sure if I would be able to get them in time because they are moving locations and are really behind apparently. I guess I should contact them and see. I would also need to find a place around here that can weld them on since I don't know anyone who could do it for me.

That's good to hear. I would really love to make it out there but can't make a commitment just yet. It would be about a 9 hour drive from where I'm at as well. I wouldn't be able to leave until Thursday evening or early Friday morning most likely, but that would still give me most of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at least.

I noticed that 1 or 2 Lexus's were listed as in attendance last year. I have a T4R, but am also considering bringing a GX460. Would this be allowed? Also, I am having difficulty editing my registration. I keep trying to re-register with the accurate info, but I keep getting a message that I am already registered (yet I haven't paid yet.) Any word on how to reset my registration.

Any Toyota is welcome, so Lexus is fine. Several folk I know of in Texas have built up their Lexus 4x4s into very capable rigs.

Hey AC... I have your registration in the database. I'm aware a couple of other people have had a similar issue. I am working on an ad-hoc payment page so everyone who is unpaid can get squared away. Thank you for your patience while we work out the kinks.
