Yep, I will be there. New to this forum but not the event or wheeling. Can't wait, it will be my first outing since when I had the Taco 5 years ago. I have not wheeled this 97 4Runner or an auto either so I will be learning what it can do. If it is anything like the Taco we are in for a treat.

Broken Wrench is welding sliders and doing some tow points in the front next week.

We're still working on those details. This year, we'll have guided runs Thursday afternoon through Saturday morning. As long as you can make it to the event before/around Friday afternoon, you won't miss a lot of the bonus events :rockon:

We just wrapped up the Mardi Krawl this weekend and I'm already Jonesing for the next wheeling opportunity. I feel like I'm on the Southeast Circuit this year. Mardi Krawl, LoneStar Toyota Jambo, GSMTR, and Southern Cruiser Crawl in the fall. I wonder if I will get any groupies when this tour is over?!

i've never been to an event like this. Bit of a hike from Nashville too. Is it worth it for guys like me who have just bilsteins and 33s? Don't have any sliders and setup to do anything serious but it would be fun just to check it out. Would have to hotel it cause i don't have any camping gear either.

I would have to say absolutely. There are going to be a few runs that your 4Runner are going to be able to handle. I always recommend sliders as an important first mod for Gilmer. There are lots of people that are coming that have open passenger seats. You could always make a new friend and ride shotgun.

We also have around 20 vendors that are going to be onsite; perfect opportunity to see equipment in person from companies as far away as California.

We have a few people making the journey from Tennessee.

One thing I would absolutely purchase before the trip is a CB Radio. They are imperative on the trails. You'll want to know if there is an obstacle ahead of you that you may want to bypass or get a spotter. You can get a handheld Midland CB on Amazon for only $33.

So, this is probably not an option, but are there any available ways to pay for only Sat/Sun? I would like to attend but there's absolutely no way I can get off work, so the earliest I can head out is 10pm Friday. Also, can I get into the park after hours? Either way, I may still just pay and come in Saturday morning. All stock and never been to an actual trail event so I'm definitely trying to check it out.
