Black red and white are single stage. When you polish them there will be paint transfer on your pad/towel/cloth

That is why you wil see neglected red tacomas turn pink and white carollas turn chalky

Silly question: The lower half of my bumpers are matte/plastic. Are yours painted gloss black to match the top half of the bumpers, or did they come like that?

Mine came like that from the factory. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think only the 99 Sport/Highlanders came unpainted. Different flares too.

Dang, I've only had my truck for a few days, and can't remember if the flares were matte or glossy like yours, but I'm pretty sure they're matte too. In fact, looking online I see the other '99 Sports are like that.

Eventually I'll have my bumpers & flares sprayed to match. I need to do the front of the fenders, hood, and grill anyway because of the years of chipping, Colorado winters and gravel.
