14+ fog light bulbs to H8?

2014+'s have H16 Type 2 fog light bulbs 19w.

Has anyone tried replacing their H16's 19w to H8 35w?
The bases are almost the same. Just some trimming on the locking tabs on the bulbs.

On the Rav4 forum people are putting H11s 55w's in stock fog housing.


I order a real cheap pair on the Ebay to try.

I recall a few people being concerned the stock wiring harness wouldn't be able to handle the additional load/heat. Someone used an infrared temp gun and said it was negligible.
