'14 LE w/ 8,000 Miles & Counting

This weekend makes 2 months since I picked up my Magnetic Grey LE.
I just rolled over 8,000 miles today as I am traveling back across the country from California to my hometown in North Carolina. I'm only in Albuquerque, NM right now, heading to Tulsa for the weekend, Nashville after that for two days, and then home. It is more than likely I will hit 10,000 miles by next week. Here are the last two pictures I got before I left Los Angeles. My Runner at my favorite spot in Malibu. Can't wait to get this semester of school over with and get back to LA this summer!

Now I don't feel so bad!!! I've had mine for 3 weeks and have 1200 miles on mine already, granted 500 were just from the trip home from the dealership... and I have a trip for the upcoming holidays to the Midwest that will surely add another 2k miles...

hehe and i thought i was bad. 40 miles round trip x 5 days week just for work. doesnt include the around town jaunts or the 250 jaunt to capital the first week i had it.

already up to the low 800's in 16 days.

No problems as of now, and hopefully none in the foreseeable future. I did notice on the way out to California back in October that my 4R had the annoying "whistling" noise coming from the side mirror area. However, since I've been in LA and on the trip back so far, I haven't heard it one time.

Still absolutely in love with the 2014. Such a smooth ride and nice interior to enjoy while I'm in it. . . which as you can see is A LOT of my time!

I'm on the opposite end, I've had my 13 TE sice June 2013, and I'm not even at 8000 Kms! Helps when you have a company vehicle and a wife the works 5kms away.

I got my 13 in August and just rolled past 5000 miles this week.

Back when we bought our Element in 2008, I put 10,000 miles on it in 2 months. We were driving back and forth to Bloomington, Indiana for me to start my doctorate and we spent what seemed like WEEKS in that car.

Go Hoosiers! I LOOOOVED living in Bloomington. So many awesome places to ride (like 85% of people in town, I raced bikes), fish and hike.

Hoping to to defend my dissertation in the next couple of months, then I can finally say that I'm an IU alum!
