16" fj wheels to replace 17" sport rims

Quick question. I'm looking at a set of anthracite fj wheels in 16". Love the gun metal look and think it will look good with the galactic grey.

My question is there an advantage or disadvantage in going from 17" to 16" to get a cool set of fj rims?

I personally would prefer 16" wheels, but I was under the impression that those of us with the Sport version had to use the 17" in order to clear the larger brakes.

I have FJ 16s on my 2007 SR5, no issues. But I believe the sports do require a 17.

Actually its ALL Sport's and SOME Limited's require 17's to clear the larger brakes

Thanks to all for saving me making a $$$$ mistake by getting these. Good thing I asked before pulling the trigger: (up for grabs now)
A little pricey but bet they would look awesome on our Runners.

It was an option on the Limiteds, mine has the smaller which is around a 12" rotor I believe
