Over the last year or so I have been slowly acquiring all of the parts that I need to do the tundra/LC lift to my 4runner. Its getting to be time to start looking for tires for it. I picked up some stock 17x7's from a newer generation a few months back, and am trying to get a good idea of what tires to put on them and how wide of a tire to use.
I am planning to use ~33 inch tire. I would prefer to use something a little wider than what they come from the factory with, but I don't know how wide too wide is. What's considered unsafe/not right. I'm not sure if there is a happy medium between stock, and pushing the limits on width?
Just to stop any comments before I get them...yes I did try to search for this....
Thanks in advance for the help!
