17" wheel/tire question

I have the tundra/lc lift with 285/75/16 and only rub when full turn and flexed out. I'm on second perch up front. The tire is considered a 33. I also have spidertrax 1.25" spacer

Those tires will rub with your stock springs. If you upgrade to the Tall springs from a 99 they will fit.

Sweet, thanks for the heads up. It seems like i need to stick with the 16" stock or go with the 275/60/17 if i am able to find a good 17" wheel.

If you still have the original shocks & springs you should change them out. You will love the new ride.

Anyone put these on?

And is $1,200 for the set with new tires a good deal?
I paid $600 for mine with nearly new tires.

agreed, as much as i desperately want these wheels, I couldnt pay more than $400 MAX for just the wheels. most people who buy wheels don't even want the tires on them no matter the condition so it's hard to even sell above the price of what the wheel is worth. For the price he's asking, you can pick up these wheels from someone else plus put on your on tires of choice

16" to 17" Rims

Can I put 17" wheels/tires from a 2005 4runner onto my 1999 4 Runner Limited that came with 16" wheels without doing anything beyond putting them on? Sorry but all these tire, lift and cutting comments has me confused.

I'm assuming the new tires are 265/70R17's? If that's the case then you may have some minor rubbing when turning. I have 265/70R17 tires on 5th gen SR5 4Runner rims and I rub slightly when turned and flexed a little.

Was looking at putting on the factory 17's from a 2016 Sr5 4Runner. I love this wheel! But the guy selling, his center caps, all 4 are dented... Are these caps expensive?

Hmm, here is how are the caps are... That's same cap you think? For $50 a pop and $400 for all 4 wheels/tires, not the best deal it's seems now.

Those are not SR5 rims. SR5 rims are 6 spoke. I think those are trd or trail rims. I'm not familiar with them, but I doubt they're the same center caps.
