17x9 Tire size options?

Hey guys,

Last year I bought Ultra Gauntlet 17X9 6-5.5 wheels and run the stock tires on them. I am now looking to buy something that will fit properly, look good and safe. I don`t go in trails and mostly do city.

I own a 2012 base model and I do not plan installing custom suspension to it.

I would really appreciate if you guys could recommend anything for me or size that I should go with.

Get any 265/70/17 you like.

I always recommend Michelin AT2's for that type of driving, others on here like the coopers. Either is just fine.

there are hundreds of tires threads out there.

I always recommend the goodyear silent armors though. Great highway manors, good gas mileage, and they're aggressive for an AT so if you did want to go play, they won't let you down. Mine are 285/70/17, but I'm lifted, so you might want to stay closer to stock

Stay with stock size. I use P-rated Continentals on oem wheels, and switch to winter tires on FJC steel wheels. Perfect combination AFAIC.

But I now use 9'' wide rims and when I got my stock tires on the wheel they had difficulties to put them on...

Yeah, not really sure why you put 9" rims on it...
