Just got to PA (Northeast Pennsylvania) from Houston TX. 1800m trip, 26 hour drive in around 28 hours. Two drivers left at 5 am Sunday and we got here 9 am Monday, non-stop drive for my 2nd gen. The only problems I felt was that the transmission felt a little dif, as it always does after a 24-straight drive, but it feels better after 3 days of cool down. Then the car lost about 2 quarts, which seems understandable after 80-85 mph for 26 straight hours.
No problems at all though, temp was perfect, gas mileage wasn't that bad (17 mpg fully loaded 2 persons 80 mph average). I just need to wash her and change her oil and she's set for the north east winter thats coming. Her covers in the mail, for the snowy nights, and shes in tip top shape. Good thing too cause I still got 2 more hours (to main campus Penn State U) and 2 back, 5 hours to DC, 5 hours back, and then 3 more hours to NY and 3 back before I start school. Thats 46 hours of driving in 1 week, purely insane, not counting the mindless city driving I'll have to do in DC and the normal driving in PA and NY. She's up to it though, gotta love 2nd gens.
