1985 sway bar diameter?

Ive been searching and searching but i cant find the diameter for the stock 1985 sway bar?

trying to get new bushings for them, but the different diameters are 19mm and 23mm ive found.

but i cannot get a definite answer on this, and ive tried measuring with a tape measure, but a difference of 4 mm is hard to tell.

edit - mine is (was) 19mm.

take the sway bar off and send it to the scrap yard. its unnecessary on a leaf sprung rig.


if you really need to know the size, get a 19mm(3/4" will also work) open end wrench. if it fits over the bar snugly, its 19mm....
