Well I decided to check my O2 sensor out of curiosity this morning. Well what i found was the O2 sensor was in, but the plug for it was not.I've been scouring the internet for where this darn thing plugs into. The O2 sensor is before the cat. Someone please help me out. :hatsoff:

Pretty sure my O2 wire comes out of the harness along the drivers side fender.

Just looked it up in the FSM and there should be one O2 sensor on the exhaust manifold if it has the Turbo and the one just before the CAT if is just the RE. The wiring for the CAT sensor would come through the floor under the driver seat.

That being said I have seen different configurations of these sensors and they have not all matched. I know of at least two running the 22RE that only use the O2 sensor off the manifold and I have heard of a couple that only use the one before the CAT and none of them have issues or CELs.

My 22RE has just the manifold O2 plug, for what it's worth. I'm guessing Cali emissions is the difference, but I don't know that for sure.
