1990 4runner O/D light flashing repeatedly during diagnostic

So on my way home I got a check engine light. once again it was 71 for the EGR system. but during the diagnostic my O/D light is flashing constantly without stopping. I don't recall ever getting this before

Transmission ecu is seeing something, I know this has been discussed before, but can't remember what thread it was.

Try searching around for this issue, I'm sure you'll find the procedure to get the error code for the transmission.
