After replacing everything, in the starting system. It wont start after heating up. Wait some time and it fires up fine. And reading the forums about similar issues, I was informed that there is a faulty factory wiring defect. I'm not friends with electrical, could you people explain this to me please? I was also told about wiring up a relay for the starter. Nothing ive read has been of no help as of yet.

This thread has the basics of installing a new relay. Your 91 already has a factory starter relay, so this thread details a better fix for you.

This assumes that the factory wiring defect is what's causing your trouble, there's other reasons your truck might not want to start. When it doesn't, what does it do? Does it crank, or crank slowly, or not turn over at all? If it doesn't turn over, do you hear multiple clicks or a single thunk? Have you had the battery checked?

Check your coolant temp sensor. Could also be the coil. Time to go at it with a volt meter.

What other parts are new when you change "the starting system"

Hyde802,
List of new pertinent parts: battery, starter, relay fuse, alternator, ignition, ignition switch, cap n rotor, plugs, wires, mass air sensor, new battery cables, and new S terminal wire for the starter.

Kidvermicious,
when it gets hot (engine temp) all lights and features work perfectly, when I go to turn the key to start I just get clicks. Turn the key, click. Remove key and try again, click.

I just wired direct to the starter relay in my 91 and your problem is nothing like mine so it may not cure your issue. What mine was doing was it would only start when on a battery charger. New battery, alternator charging properly, new cables, all good connections ect. The issue is that not only does the ignition switch signal the relay but it also supplies the power through the switch. When the switch wears it doesn't handle the load. So I disconnected the wire at relay and ran 12v battery voltage straight to it and it works great.

If I were to offer some advise from experience, your starter solenoid may be heating up being so close to the exhaust. I had this issue in my 55 chevy pickup. I used a ford starter solenoid mounted to the fender. It basically bypasses the starter mounted solenoid. You can make it yourself with a solenoid from the parts store and the info is easily found online, or the sell a kit at places like Jegs and summit.
