1995 4runner 4x4 Check Engine Light --Help

i bought a 1995 manual, 4x4, 3.0L ,pretty low miles (108K), had the CEL come on and give me codes 26 (continuously running rich), 42 vss circuit, and 43 starter signal circuit. looked to find solutions, some have suggested new o2 sensor, tune up, but any help would be appreciated. Also seems to run slow.

Have you checked to make sure your O2 sensors are connected and that wiring is good?

Does your speedometer work?

Speedometer does work. I checked the o2sensor and connection it appears to be ok. I took off and reconnected. I do have a new one coming tomorrow so I was going to replace.

Helo mech. Thanks for the post. I took off the o2 sensor cable , reconnected. Also noted the guy I bought it from put a 12 gauge wire off the terminal for a "quick disconnect" took that off and reconnected the proper battery cable and the runner runs great.
