1996 --> 2002 Grill, Don't Worry, it's Colormatched

I've been swamped with school work lately, which blows. Maintaining a 4.8 GPA isn't easy. It's got me kind of down. I've just been driving my 4Runner to and from school everyday, and I've noticed the ugliest part of my truck is that screen door grill I have. (For Sale by the Way).

Before:

So here's what I've done/ will be doing with pictures of course.
1) Buy aftermarket '02 Grill, Grill Emblem, and Evergreen Pearl Paint (Done)
2) Paint the Grill Emblem Black (In the Process)
3) Sand the Grill to 3000 Grit and paint Evergreen Pearl. (Don't have grill or paint yet)
4) Assemble
5) Laugh with Pride

hope you don't mind how far the 02 grille sticks out. 96-98 grilles are flatter and don't stick out as much... same reason I find Satoshi grilles to look weird over fat lip bumpers.

Good luck, color matched grilles are awesome. Any plans to do the bumper?

I've seen them in person and like that they stick out. I think I'll get use to it.

I've been considering, once I get a Shrockworks or an ODL Front Bumper, color-matching it. I think it'd look pretty awesome. I've never seen it done before.
So much more stuff before armor though, like 33's.

Are you going to paint it yourself? I think some adhesion promotor would be a good call on the plastic.

What country are going to school in that has a grading scale that includes a 4.8?!

Only goes up to a 4.0, unless you take AP classes which can bring it up even more.

That's illogical, but gives me more reason to stand by my belief that grading systems are beyond flawed... pass/fail should be the standard.

That's neither here nor there though, the color-matched grill will be sweet! Looking forward to seeing pics of the final product!
