did a quick search but couldn't find much info...i'm rebuilding the front end of a 97 sr5 i just got....needing to get a radiator and have seen prices all over the place...any where from 50 bux aftermarket on up to around $200. there are some new radiators on ebay for around $40 plus another $30 shipping...seems like a GREAT deal...esp since i'm not wanting to spend a ton of money getting it back together. am i going to run into any cooling issues with a less expensive radiator? they all appear to have plastic end tanks, aluminum single core....but i want i to last. i know the design of the fins plays a role in cooling efficiency...but looking more for some personal experience with a less expensive radiatos.

thanks!

No, I don't think that you would have cooling problems with an aftermarket radiator. I have heard of several people installing aftermarket radiators with no problems, but I guess it comes down to which brand you buy.

Personally though, I would just go with the OEM one, since you can't really go wrong with OEM in terms of cooling and its longevity.
